ANTHEMIC ALT-ROCK SUPERGROUP TEAM UP FOR THE RELEASE OF “MANIAC”

LISTEN TO “MANIAC”: HERE

Grammy-nominated Nashville-based alt-rock artist, Zayde Wølf (“Gladiator”, “Heroes”), platinum-selling LA-based artist & producer and one half of alt-rock band The Score, EDVN (“Legend”, “Unstoppable”), and platinum-selling Nashville-based artist & songwriter Sam Tinnesz (“Play With Fire”, “Legends Are Made”) have come together for a collaboration of epic proportions with the release of the anthemic single “MANIAC.”

Uniting all three artists is their focus on making empowering music that helps listeners push through and overcome life’s challenges. This motivational mentality of transcending the past, has connected with their fans in a big way. Collectively the trio has over 10 billion streams, thousands of film and TV placements, multiple Grammy Nominations and certified platinum records.

This collaboration came together by fan request. The three share a cross section of fans and had been getting messages and comments for years from fans begging them to work together. As scheduled, all three met at Sam Tinnesz’s Nashville studio and the chemistry was undeniable. “I honestly had no idea if this day would ever come,” Sam Tinnesz recalls. “Getting all three of us in the same room at one time was wild and felt a bit like something none of us would soon forget!”

The resulting song “Maniac” packs a powerful punch that fans and listeners alike will not soon forget.    Zayde Wolf and Sam Tinnesz sing the pulsating powerful chorus “Watch me I’m a maniac / can’t stop me “I’m a maniac / riding on the rage / feeding on the flames / that won’t ever change,” and EDVN explains that “‘‘Maniac’ takes these motivational themes across all our music and goes one step further,”embracing the haters and owning it— a maniacal level of ambition. “

The early reactions from fans have been overwhelming and although this is the first collaboration from these three, fans are hoping it’s not the last.

Nashville’s Alt. Rock chart topper Zayde Wølf, the musical persona of  Grammy nominated producer and songwriter Dustin Burnett has released a beast of a single “Holy Water,” one his most powerful songs to date, a bold statement being that his music has yielded over 400 Million streams and has served as the motivational soundtrack for millions of fans, who have found the strength and inspiration to overcome life’s toughest challenges in Wølf’s music. I get all these emails,” Burnett told Billboard, “with all these stories about how the music has moved people in some way. I wanted to continue to make music for people to be inspired by."

“Holy Water” follows the formula of some of the most memorable songs ever written, being that it manifested quickly, unexpectedly and was a last-minute addition to the album. It was one of those accidental songs that emerged once Burnett released his creative boundaries as he felt the album was finished. "I didn't try to write ‘Holy Water’ on purpose, it was already in there, a raw and personal moment, just waiting for me to release it,” says Burnett.  "Sometimes when you remove all of your boundaries on your creativity, something new, surprising, and even fantastic emerges. I think ‘Holy Water ‘was that for me."

“Holy Water,” which is featured on Spotify's All New Rock and New Noise playlists  follows up the anti-hero inspired song “Madness,” that  Indie Obsessive said was filled with  “thunderous percussion, backing vocal shouts, and crescendos that contribute to the pandemic-like motivational effect that ‘Madness’ builds in listeners,” and was immediately swooped up for us all throughout the NCAA March Madness tournament by CBS and Turner  Sports. “Back At It” Zayde Wølf’s  first taste of the new music this year, was a powerful entry that Apiate called “ an energetic pop/rock track that carries the musician’s signature electronic-infused style. Zayde’s lyrics are reminiscent and uplifting and he delivers the song with infectious exuberance,” setting the tone for what 2021 had in store for Zayde Wølf fans, his third full length album Neon Blood Type. This album follows the 2018 release of Modern Alchemy, Zayde Wølf’s sophomore full-length album, which charted in over 25 countries on the iTunes charts and debuted in the top ten on the iTunes Alternative chart in the U.S. within hours of its release.

Neon Blood Type signifies everything that is unique within people and within Burnett. “

Nashville based writer and producer Zayde Wølf is storming into 2021 with a tour de force and fist pumping powerful new song “Back At It.”  This powerhouse of a song sets the tone for what is bound to be a huge year for Dustin Burnett the mastermind behind Zayde Wølf. ”Back at It” is the first single from Wølf’s third full length album due out this spring. The album follows the 2018 release of Modern Alchemy, Wølf’s sophomore full length album, which charted in over 25 countries on the iTunes charts and debuted in the top ten on the iTunes Alternative chart in the U.S. within hours of it’s release. Unintimidated by his past successes, Burnett has always been solely focused on making music that helps listeners to push through and overcome life’s challenges, trust that broken hearts eventually heal, and to remember that music is one of our most powerful tools for connecting us to one another. Burnett has experienced the power of music firsthand, and he's made it his mission to share it with the rest of the world.  "These songs are helping me in all these different ways,” says Burnett.  “For a song to start in one place and then move all over the world to people who speak very little English is wild. These people reach out to me daily and say they are impacted by these songs in ways that turn their week around for better, or that the songs lead them to rethink a hard situation… and that’s powerful and humbling to me."

This motivational mentality of transcending the past, and not allowing it to define who you will be, are not just concepts Burnett has embraced, but it’s how he has lived his life. Raised in Metropolis, a small town in Illinois best known for its fictional favorite son, Clark Kent, the level of success Burnett has achieved, both personally and professionally, is beyond anything he ever imagined or that was expected of him growing up. All of Burnett's accolades may seem to be the makings of an obvious solo success, but the Zayde Wolf project came somewhat accidentally.

"Towards the end of 2015, I was producing some new music as a concept. I had these new ideas, but when a couple of singers fell through, I just decided to sing on it myself," Burnett says. "I finished the songs, and rather than use my name, I listed, ‘Zayde Wolf,’ as the artist and sent it to a licensing company in Los Angeles called Lyric House. Pretty much immediately, one of the songs was licensed. Jessica Cole, Lyric House’s President responded, 'So who’s Zayde Wolf, anyway? We need more songs.’ That’s literally the accidental story of how I became Zayde Wolf."

Five years later the Zayde Wølf  empire has grown to 236K YouTube subscribers, 82 million video views, over 1.2 Million monthly listeners on Spotify, with 300 million streams across all streaming platforms.  This is on top of the hundreds of films, TV shows, trailers, commercials, and video games that have featured his music. The list includes Shameless, Skyscraper movie, Love-Simon movie, the Jack Reacher 2, The Maze Runner 3, Pride Prejudice & Zombies, spots for UFC, MLB, NFL, Dodge, Jeep, WWE, Xbox, NBA, and more. LISTEN TO “BORN READY (REIMAGINED)”: HERE

“ The song, “Born Ready,” was written as a sonic motivator.” - East of 8th

““….Born Ready” that is primed to hit you right in the gut. The track roars to life with stomping percussion, an adrenaline-packed chorus, and a take-no-prisoners swagger.”

 - No Country for New Nashville

Nashville’s Zayde Wølf has released “Born Ready (Reimagined)” a reinterpretation of one of Wølf’s most beloved songs “Born Ready,” from his debut full length album Golden Age. “Born Ready (Reimagined)” is part of a series that sees Zayde Wølf mastermind Dustin Burnett reinterpreting some of his most popular songs. “Last year I hit one of those songwriting walls,” says Burnett on how the concept of the series started. “I couldn’t get over it. No new idea seemed compelling. I was listening to alot of soundtracks and started writing mini orchestral type themes and song ideas and mixing those with my older songs. The best news is that these reimagined songs have helped me break out of the creativity slump.” Wølf will be releasing an EP of these “Reimagined” songs on October 30th.

“Oblivion’ is a beautifully layered and theatrical slow-burn that builds with stirring harmonies and intense instrumentals. It has all the makings of a sci-fi or superhero blockbuster movie soundtrack.” –Forbes Magazine (on the last reimagined track “Oblivion”)

“Born Ready” is about  overcoming obstacles which in the original version is expressed with this real heavy and strong type of song. But there is a lot of power in subtlety giving this new version a whole different feeling. “Nick Box, the co-producer on all of these songs, really brings something special to the production,” says Burnett. “Sometimes Nick will start an idea for the song before I even see it or sing on it and he composes these very interesting and sometimes very elegant and very bold types of string arrangements and orchestral type things. So his sophistication brings a very new feeling to the music as well. 'Born Ready' was also one of the songs that was first requested in the Reimagined series and so I’m thankful that everyone wanted to hear that song and I hope that they love this new take of it in just a new way. Reimagined songs are not made to be in competition with the old one, it’s not like this one is better than this one, it’s just a different viewpoint on the song, composition and lyrics.”

With ZAYDE WØLF, the Burnett has built a reputation for music that inspires, motivates and most importantly connects. "I get all these emails, sometimes one a week,” Burnett told Billboard, “with all these stories about how the music has moved people in some way. I wanted to continue to make music for people to be inspired by." The Zayde Wølf online empire has grown to 229K YouTube subscribers, 76 million video views, over 1.2 Million monthly listeners on Spotify, with 300 million streams across all streaming platforms. In addition to syncs, Wølf has creatively expanded his reach by cultivating partnerships with brands such as Dude Perfect, one of the top YouTube sports channels with over 55 Million subscribers and 7 Billion views. Other creative partnerships include collaborations with Fortnite champion DrLupo, and extreme downhill racers Rémy Métailler and Matt Walker. “Perhaps the perfect description of ZAYDE is simply the dark rock child of Imagine Dragons and The Black Keys.” - Ones to Watch

Zayd Wølf is the creation of Grammy-nominated Nashville based producer and songwriter Dustin Burnett. “At this point in my career, all I wanna do is have some fun with this music and try some new stuff,” says Burnett.  “Brand New Thing” is a song about discovering that hidden giant inside you. It’s what happens the moment that you completely ignore the hate, discouragement, and negativity and step into embracing your wonderful self. It’s a song for stepping out for yourself and into your swagger. Although Wølf has had songs and albums at the top of the iTunes Alternative Rock charts he is inspired by all different types of music. “I’ve hinted at it in some songs before, but since the song is called ‘Brand New Thing’,” says Burnett “I had to try some new shit in the verses for me. I embraced the hip-hop kid inside.”

ZAYDE WØLF is unconventional, in every sense of the word. Scrawling a poetic lyric on a massive pop-rock wall of sound--hinting at Imagine Dragons and Bastille influence.”  - Pop Dust

Burnett has more new music on the horizon for this fall and a new album planned for early next year.
